Skalitzer Straße – Skalitzer Street

This street and area of Berlin Kreuzberg is often considered ugly and dirty. Indeed it isn’t the cleanest part of Berlin. But it  has a beauty due to its mixture ot prewar architecture and the housing developments of the 1970ies for low income  with new ideas, interesting form and  color design. The contrast makes it.
